Free postal entry
Every WINYART competition can be entered for free by post, with exactly the same chance of winning as a paid entry. No purchase necessary. There is no online free-entry form — the free route is by post only.
The same chance of winning
The free postal route has exactly the same chance of winning as a paid entry and goes into the same draw.
Free postal entries join the identical draw pool as paid entries. We never separate the two, and we never weight them.
What makes a valid postal entry
Your entry must be entirely hand-written and legible. Printed, typed, photocopied or otherwise reproduced entries are void.
One entry per envelope, each posted separately with normal first- or second-class postage. Multiple entries in one envelope, or bundled together, count as a single entry.
On your entry, clearly write:

Your answer to the skill question of the competition you are entering

The statement: “I am 18 or over and I reside in the United Kingdom.”
The same entry limit per person and per household applies to postal entries as to paid entries. Entries above the limit are void.
Entries must arrive before the published closing time. Entries that arrive after close, after the competition has sold out, or within 48 hours of the draw are not entered into that competition (they may, at our discretion, be carried to the next competition of similar value).
The free postal route exists to comply with UK prize-competition law. It is always available, is displayed with the same prominence as paid entry, and always carries an equal chance of winning.
